Beginning on April 2, 2012, Worthington Gardens transformed from an idea to a fully functioning landscape maintenance and design company. My passion for the creative field and the
outdoors has evolved into my professional career, and now ownership of
my business, Worthington Gardens.
I am a graduate of Otterbein College, with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree (2002). Following my graduation, my interest in taking my creative talent to the outdoors grew tremendously. In 2007, I joined a small Landscape and Design company as a foreman, where I have spent over four and a half years working in some of the most beautiful residential gardens in the Columbus area. In addition to my hands on experience, I have completed courses in the Landscape Design/Build program at Columbus State Community College. In 2008, I was awarded the Worthington Hills Garden Club scholarship for my academic excellence and dedication to the community. CSCC is nationally credited for having one of top Landscape/Horticulture programs in the United States. I received my certification as an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician (OCNT) with the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association in August 2009. As you consider a lawn care professional this upcoming year, please keep me in mind. I genuinely appreciate your consideration. I look forward to building relations and making an impact in the local community. Sincerely, Joe Patterson, OCNT Owner/Operator Worthington Gardens |
